Mr A. – Business Owner, Chalfont St Giles

The Drain Doctor High Wycombe office was recently contacted by Mr A., a business owner in the Chalfont St Giles area, who had concerns about the state of the drainage at his premises.

Technicians arrived on site later that afternoon and met with Mr A. to discuss the problems he was experiencing.

Symptoms included slow to clear sinks in the property and foul smells coming from the drains. These had got noticeably worse in recent weeks.

The Drain Doctor High Wycombe technicians set to work using high-pressure water jets to clear and wash down the drains.

Working at 3,000psi the power of the water is enough to break down most blockages and can also be used to clean residual scale and scum from pipes.

Once the jetting process had been completed, remote control CCTV cameras were used to inspect the condition of all drains in the drain run.

Drain Doctor High Wycombe technicians discovered that two joints had become displaced, which would have caused enough of an obstruction for debris within the water to build up and create a blockage.

The CCTV images were shown to the customer, who agreed that remedial work would be needed to prevent future blockages.

A cured-in-place point (CIPP) liner was recommended, which is a method of drain repair that doesn’t require digging and can therefore be installed with minimal disruption.

CIPP repairs can be carried out by all Drain Doctor High Wycombe Plumbing and Drainage technicians who are highly trained and have years of experience in all drain repair techniques.

Before leaving the property, all relevant details were logged so that a quote could be prepared by the Drain Doctor High Wycombe office and sent to the customer for consideration.
