“Please pass on our thanks to the technician that came to repair the drain at our offices. He was very professional and worked swiftly which meant the impact on our business was minimal.”

Mrs S. – Business owner, Aylesbury

Nobody wants to have to deal with the hassle of a blocked drain. For a residential customer it is an inconvenience that might interrupt family life but for a commercial customer it has the potential to disrupt business and cause significant interference to trade.

When Mrs S., a business owner in Aylesbury discovered a damaged drain at her commercial premises, she immediately called Drain Doctor High Wycombe Plumbing and Drainage.

At the core of our business here at Drain Doctor High Wycombe is our commitment to providing a fast response to calls for help from our customers. Our emergency plumbing team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

For commercial customers we also try to make sure that appointments to carry out drain repairs are arranged at times that cause the least interruption to the business.

Technicians made an early start at the Aylesbury premises before the office opened for business, to repair the drain, which had been damaged by root ingress, detected during a routine planned maintenance visit.

The repair was carried out using a drain liner soaked with chemicals that react when brought in to contact with water.

Cured-in place pipe (CIPP) lining is a “no-dig” low cost drain repair technique, suitable for drains that are slightly cracked rather than badly damaged.

The drain liner is winched through the damaged section of pipe and cured in place to form a watertight repair within the damaged ‘host’ pipe.

Mrs S. was relieved that the drain could be repaired using no-dig methods as this meant that there was little disruption to her business.
